SS 317L Strip Coil is a strip with a large surface area introduced for high-temperature applications. SS 317L strip Coil contains a composition of the elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, iron. These coils are nonmagnetic, but they are becoming slightly magnetic in the annealed climate, which results from welding. These coils referred corrosion resistant steel, which does not spot rust as easily as carbon steel. The steel is austenitic steel. So this grade of steel is thermally and electrically less conductive than carbon steel. It contains higher resistance.
The coil material is molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel. When the product increased levels of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum over 317L stainless steel improve chloride pitting resistance and general corrosion. The chemical mixture of this strip coil with additional content of molybdenum element gives coil stability in service. Mainly these coil is used for the different applications in flue gas desulfurization systems, condenser, petrochemical industry, etc.
These coils increase resistivity for resisting different types of chemical attacks. It possesses outstanding strength that make the product capable of being utilized at elevated temperature. The product contains characteristics like it has excellent magnetic properties, good cryogenic strength, ductility, etc. Also, it is crevice corrosion-resistant and has lesser inter-granular precipitation and rupture of SS 317L Strip Coil. It includes higher creep strength.
