The mixture of elements has increases corrosion resistance and improves resistance to pitting chloride ion solution, which provides increased strength at high temperatures. The strip coil of grade 316 contains similar property as type 304. SS 316 Strip Coil is stronger at elevated temperatures.
Mechanical Properties Of SS 316 strip Coil
The SS 316L strip Coil has a lower carbon version that offers excellent welding and forming features. These SS 316L strip coil is more resistant to various types of general corrosion, pitting and cracking. They cannot be toughened by heat treatment. High-temperature corrosion resistance is improved, particularly against the acids like sulphuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids, acid sulphates and alkaline chlorides. It shows excellent yield strength and elongation.
Physical Properties Of SS 316L Strip Coil
The Application of SS 316/SS 316L strip Coil:-
Those SS 316/SS 316L strip Coils are usually used in industries like the gas processing industry, petrochemical industry, power generation industry. It is also recommended in food processing industry, chemical industry, aerospace industry, refining industry, pulp and paper, energy industry. Most of industries including pharmaceutical industry, Oil and gas industry, Fertiliser, and sugar industry, etc. select these strip coils for its efficient working.
