These are considered for excellent inter-granular corrosion resistance at higher temperatures, and it is recommended in lower thermal applications due to increased toughness. ASTM A 312 TP 321 pipes are superior with corrosion resistance properties than other grades, whereas it gives more thermal capability with greater heat resistance.
